IRMAA Hub collects as little as possible: no accounts and no advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and PostHog for aggregate usage statistics, and the only personal information we store is an email address, and only if you ask us to send you bracket updates.
Calculator and letter-checker inputs:nothing. The income and letter figures you type, along with the checker's results, are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers or stored anywhere. Every worksheet on this site is masked in our usage tools, so the numbers you enter and the results we show you are not readable in any recording or report.
Email address:only if you submit the “notify me” form. We store the address you provide so we can email you when CMS publishes official figures and, where relevant, a reminder before the Medicare enrollment window.
Usage statistics: we use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It sets measurement cookies and collects data such as pages visited, device type, and approximate location. We look at aggregate reports only and do not use analytics data to identify you. The figures you type into the calculator are not sent to Google Analytics. You can block it with Google's opt-out browser add-on, and Google describes its own handling in the Google Privacy Policy.
Letter-checker usage:we record fixed events such as whether a checker link was shown or clicked, and whether the tool was started, completed, printed, shared, or followed to a next step. These events contain only fixed source or action labels. They do not contain letter fields, financial values, or the checker's result.
Page interaction: we use Microsoft Clarity to see, in aggregate, how pages are scrolled and clicked so we can fix confusing layouts. Clarity records anonymised interaction with the page and sets its own cookies. Worksheet inputs and results are masked before anything leaves your browser, as described above. Microsoft describes its handling in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Product analytics and session replay: we use PostHog to see which tools visitors actually use and, on a sample of visits, to replay how a page was scrolled and clicked so we can fix what confuses readers. PostHog is configured to mask every form input and every worksheet figure before the data leaves your browser, so the income you enter and the results we show you are never readable in a replay. The events we send carry only fixed labels such as which filing status or which year was selected, never a dollar amount and never an email address. Our PostHog data is hosted in the United States. We do not sell it or rent it to anyone. PostHog describes its own handling in the PostHog privacy policy.
Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to serve the site securely. We do not use them to identify visitors.
Subscriber addresses are stored with Resend, the email service we use to send updates. We use your address only for the updates you requested. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at contact@irmaahub.com and we will remove your address.
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and its effective date. This policy is effective as of September 16, 2026.
